Contemporary painter and urban artist Luis Morales de la Cruz discovered his passion for art in his childhood in the vibrant metropolis of Lima, South America. Influenced by the bold aesthetics of the 1990s – from pop art and music to anime and comics – he developed a unique and unmistakable style characterized by a striking fusion of fluorescent colors and strong contrasts. His works, combining both abstract and figurative elements, captivate the viewer and invite a deeper engagement with art.
At the age of twelve, the Peruvian artist moved to Austria, where he now works in his studio in the heart of Vienna. There he creates large-scale works on canvas using a mix of different techniques and a vivid visual language. Luis Morales de la Cruz has established himself not only as a recognized artist, but also as one of the most renowned digital visual artists in the country. His creative visions have led to numerous marketing collaborations and commissioned projects – including with Red Bull, Samsung, Padre Azul and Julius Meinl. With every piece, he tells a new story.
